Bedford Marine Corps League Annual Spring Golf Tournament
Our tournament supports Toys for Tots. April 16 is the date for you to join the Marines at Ivy Hill Golf Club (1327 Ivy Hill Drive, Forest, VA). This year’s tournament is bigger and better than ever, with a $10,000 hole-in-one prize, a prize for the longest drive on another hole, a third prize for the ball closest to the pin. A fourth prize rewards accuracy: the straightest drive. Two holes need really special efforts. On one, all shots are with a #5 iron. The second challenge is wearing combat gear while shooting on the Combat Hole. The second hole features 50-50 tickets. Buy five tickets, land on the green and get five more free. As always, strings and mulligans can be bought before tee time. Early birds get a free bucket of range balls for practice between 8 and the 9 a.m. tee time.
Single entry cost is $50. Four person teams are $200. Food and drink are available. Tee-off time is 9 a.m., Saturday, April 16.
